The rooms are big and friendly adapted and the aircon in one bedroom can keep the whole appartement nice and cool. You can order original Mauritian meals cooked by our housekeeper Sarika or prepare dinner yourself with fresh vegetables from round the corner. No matter if you prefer sports, nature, culture or beaches, everything is nearby. There are 3 more app. with each its own entrance.

The villa is sited in the outskirts of Grand Baie which is in the north and one of Mauritius´ most popular destinations. The neighborhood is quit and yet very close to the hidden beautiful temple beach with a splendid restaurant and also the center of Grand Baie. 5 minutes walk form the Villa you will have small local restaurants with delicious Mauritian menus( my favourite is Chez Coolen By Ram), pharmacia, vegetable stall, kiosk, diving center. The big La Croisette Mall is 20 minutes walking distance away.
There are plenty walking routes for example along the beach to Grand Baie. There are many interesting spots nearby as for the Botanical Garden, Fishmarket at Grand Baie, The Bazaar in Grand Baie, Tamil Surya Qudaya Sangam Temple, Ronaq-Ul-Islam Sunnee Mosque, trip to Coin de Mire and Flat Island with catamaran or speedboat, Notre Dame Auxiliatrice and so on. I am a Danish woman, former nurse and now working in the tourist business. I have 2 grown up sons and I love to travel and learn about cultures, people and places around the world. I have my own travel company besides my work and rent out appartements in Mauritius/Grand Baie in association with a local family..
