- Mini fridge for snacks and drinks only. [Sorry, no kitchen. However, guests love the fact they can BBQ at the outdoor kitchen by the pool and use the amenities and restaurants nearby. Most of the time guests are sight seeing and just need a place to sleep.]
- One large sliding glass door, sorry no windows.
- One bedroom with ensuite that is attached to the main house. Like a hotel you can occasionally hear a little sound from the other room and house.
- 2nd bedroom across from your room and lanai is a spare bedroom so you have full private use of the lanai.
- Shoulder high plants on lanai for privacy. However, complex may do yard work in mornings and afternoons. Schedule is random. Usually no issues with sound whatsoever.
- You have your own private entrance to room and lanai, the 15 seconds walk around the corner from the parking to the house is a shared walk way.
Amenities are just across the street (1 minute walk) whereas other units you have to drive to it.

It is ideal for just one couple that wants a nice room to stay, to explore the island most of the day, and does not want to spend the money for a room at the expensive Fairmont or Mauna Lani hotel.

You get private access to Mauna Lani Club house with white sandy lagoon beach and free cabanas, free parking. The club house has a bar and a lovely restaurant (Napua), rentals shop offering Kayaks, SUP, body boards, and snorkels right on the beach. One of the best snorkeling on Big Island.
49's beach is the only black sand beach in this area and only 5 mins away by car. The area offers great hikes along the ocean. Award-winning amenities are just a 1 minute walk across the street whereas other units you have to drive to it. GYM, BBQ, 2 Hot Tubs, 2 Pools and lounge all included with no extra resort fees. Mauna Lani Hotel guest pay $300-$500 a night to stay in the area.
