Embrace the endless beauty of the Shenandoah Valley from this newly renovated private mountain retreat with stunning sunset views and endless stars. Enjoy the community's private access to the Shenandoah River, including a dining and grilling area right on the water. Escape the city, but still have access to our modern comforts of cell phone service and wifi. Relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace, grill a fantastic dinner, or just enjoy reading a book on the swing in the screened porch.

Escape the city and recharge at this tastefully renovated cabin with thoughtful details throughout, including the enjoyable screened in porch, custom locally made light fixtures, and a skylight for added natural light.
The living room features a queen sized sofa bed, wood-burning fireplace, TV with Apple TV for streaming, DVD collection, playing cards, and board games.
Our fully stocked kitchen includes everything you need to make the perfect meal, plus a coffee maker and toaster. We also provide pantry stables such as coffee, condiments, and spices.
The bedroom includes a queen sized bed and plenty of storage. Linens (sheets & towels) are not going to be included at this time due to the National Pandemic CIVID -19, the state and counties are recommending that we take extra precautions to ensure our safety and the safety of our guests. We are asking, that guests please bring their own linens (sheets and towels) during their stay. This will help prevent the spread of the virus. All pillows, and beds will be sanitized. And we will have blankets. Thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.
The house includes both heat and air conditioning. We provide firewood from October 1 to March 31 if you would like to use the wood-burning fireplace. We provide propane for the gas grill.
Nightly rate includes state and county lodging taxes.

For driving into our location, it is absolutely recommended that a vehicle with 4x4 or AWD capabilities; the way up is a bit rough. The cabin’s driveway has recently been paved with gravel, but a 4X4 or AWD vehicle is a must, to avoid any inconveniences.
For guests with pets: your pets are more than welcome into our retreat, but please be aware that we charge an additional one-time payment of 55$ pet fee to help us with the additional cleaning required.

My husband and I have been living around the DC metro area for close to 20 years now. One of the things that we look forward to during our free time is a retreat from the daily buzz of the city.
