Get away from the city! Our cozy quiet rustic small homestead is tucked amongst an oak forest. There are 6 beds, 3 full baths, and a stocked kitchen. This is not just a place to rest your head but an experience. You have access to the house, backyard, garden, treats for the goats stargazing, informal trail wondering, garden meandering, and the Rockfish River. Which is perfect for a guided tour, splashing around or good ole river sittin' as a bonus! The Abundant Seed is 100% family-friendly with attractive activities.
This is a restful place, and nature is alive here!
Please note we are not a party house.

The entire house, yard, field, forest and pond. Feel free to explore. Our guesthouse that may be rented will share the yard or 15 acre property with you. Please be considerate of each other.

Pets: Pet fee of 50.00 You must inform us of your pet before hand or we will go through airbnb to require the security deposit. We have goats and a Great Pyrenees in a fenced in area but your animal MUST be on a leash.
There is a guesthouse located 20 yards adjacent to the main house. There may be guest staying there.
Wifi:
Our wifi connection is high speed but metered. You will have plenty of data for zoom calls for work form home parents and homeschooled children but please do NOT stream Netflix YouTube platforms etc. Download those items prior to your arrival. We supply an adapter that connects to your iPhone or Android to watch your downloaded material.

There really isn't a neighborhood. We live in a rural part of the county so the amazing stars are your neighbors at night and the trees during the day. Use the local activities for your adventures and our house for restful quiet and connection!

I am a fun, adventurous, nature loving, teacher and farmer! The outdoors is my place of paradise. I have an amazing husband that can build anything and two beautiful daughters that are equally adventurous. We have been living in Schuyler for over 8 years. We are building our property into a homestead retreat, where we host summer camps for children, and have group retreats on occasion. We are stewards of our chickens, 2 dogs, goats and gardens. When we are not tending to the farm we LOVE to kayak or travel.

We do not live on the property but you can reach us anytime with a simple text or phone call. Sometimes we are working on the land doing homestead chores.
