Welcome to YASUMI (Japanese for holiday/rest). Located at the cove end of Adventure Bay beach, from YASUMI you can hear the sound of the waves, watch the sunrise from the front verandah and look out over the bay towards the Tasman peninsula or go for a stroll on the long sandy Adventure Bay beach. Just 1 hour from Hobart, YASUMI is in another world. Adventure Bay is a place full of natural beauty, historical significance and world class tourist attractions.

When you are at Yasumi you have all the comforts of home with the wonders of Bruny at your doorstep. The well stocked neighbourhood supermarket is within walking distance and also sells petrol and takeaway meals. The Pardalete cafe offers great coffee, crepes and asian inspired meals just down the road. After a morning coffee wander over to the Bruny history museum and for something more elegant World class Pennicott Wilderness tours and Restaurant is at the end of the bay.
The things you can do on Bruny are too many to list here but among them you will also find The Winery, Bruny Cheese cafe restaurant,Oyster Farm cafe restaurant, Inala bird watching tours,Wilderness tours and ocean adventures look on Bruny Island website for more details.
The house is split level, with a small staircase between the tv and two of the bedrooms and the kitchen, dining, bathroom, toilet and third bedroom.
Please note at this time the wood heater in the living room doesn't work, but there are reverse cycle heaters in the living and dining rooms and portable heaters in each bedroom.
Dogs are welcome, but please let us know. Dogs are only allowed in the backyard which is fully fenced and the back area of the house please - please don't allow your dog into the carpeted lounge room or any of the bedrooms. There is an additional cleaning fee for dogs of $50 which will be charged directly through Airbnb (it is not included in the final price when you originally book).

This spacious cottage is on a large level fenced block with room for children to run around. It has a king size bed in front bedroom with views of the ocean and a queen in the second. A third bedroom is available when needed by guests with a bunk bed (double on the bottom a single on the top).
The comfortable living room has wonderful ocean views and access to the front balcony, an ideal place to watch the activity on Adventure Bay while enjoying a hot drink or glass of wine.
To the back of the living area is a spacious kitchen (also with sea views), dining area, third bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. Leading off this is the laundry and shower room. Sliding doors from here open onto the private sunny BBQ area.

Bruny is truly an island. All water is supplied by water tanks on the property. Please use it respectfully.
