Mountain Getaway in a Private Villa located at Chagres National Park; a rainforest reserve only 30 minutes away from the airport and 50 minutes from Panama City. At 1,007 meters altitude, you will enjoy perfect climate, bird watching, beautiful river walks, waterfalls, many hiking trails full of wildlife, enjoy our mountains pure air or simply relax in our hammocks by the terrace with a full view of Panama City, stunning mountains and weather permitting the magnificent Caribbean Sea.

We are in a Cloud Forest at 1,007 meters altitude in the middle of the Panamanian Rainforest. This area is also inside a National Park called "Chagres National Park" and it is a protected area as this park is the responsible of providing most of the water that our "Panama Canal" uses.
You can also find here lots of rivers, waterfalls, excellent hiking trails, a viewpoint where in a good day you can see The Pacific and The Atlantic Ocean both at the same time plus an amazing view to the city and "Alajuelas Lake"
This rainforest is also home for many animals you may be able to see in the wild like:
-Sloth
-Toucans
-Racoons
-Tamarind Monkey
-Spider Monkey
-Capuchin Monkey
-Howler Monkey
-Humming Birds
-Woodpeckers
-Parrots
-Wild Turkey
...and many many more animals, actually This area is one of the best in the world for Bird Watching.
Our Villa has 2 Master Bedrooms with king beds one of them with spectacular panoramic view to the city and mountains and 1 loft with a queen bed and view to the magnificent mountains.
We have many hiking trails with different levels of difficulty some as long as 1 km others 3 to 5 km and another one called "El Patriarca" 8 km which is a trail that leads to a 1,000 year old tree and is as thick as 8 man would be holding each others hands. We are also offering tours with a guide for hiking or we can take you by 4x4 for an additional fee.
We also offer transportation solutions in Panama City and the mountains at "Los Altos de Cerro Azul" as well as city tours and San Blas stays and day tours. For more information please have a look at the other listings:
