The bright and sunny York Room is the perfect choice for your weekend getaway retreat. Relax in the king-size bed, outfitted in luxurious linens amidst the room's charming beach-cottage décor. The unique bath features heated floors and a walk-in tile shower. This cozy corner room will both charm and delight.

The 1802 House is an historic inn set a short walk from downtown Kennebunkport and popular Dock Square. We offer a cozy, intimate setting with modern amenities and luxury products. Our dining room is set with intimate tables for two which can be pulled together for family style dining and a more social breakfast gathering. Tea and coffee are available at any time and complimentary cookies or cakes are available in the afternoons. We offer a three course gourmet breakfast to our guests each morning of their stay and cater to any with dietary restrictions.

There is a gift shop with a fridge which stores milk, cream and non dairy creamer for drinks at any time of day. They can store left overs or any items of their own here. Cold water and ice are also available. All areas of the garden, porch and decks are also open to guests.

The 1802 House is located in beautiful landscaped gardens adjacent to the 15th fairway of the Cape Arundel Golf Course but a short ten minute stroll from downtown Kennebunkport and popular Dock Square with its many restaurants, shopping and wonderful art galleries. Our location is unique, close to the amenities of a busy and beautiful seaside town and its delightful beaches, but with a quiet, restful atmosphere where you can relax in a rocking chair on the porch or sit and enjoy the peace in the garden after a busy day of exploring and adventure.

We will be available throughout the day from 7.30am to 7.00pm help with any queries or concerns. We can make reservations for dinner and we recommend advance reservations for dinner during the summer. We are available by phone after 7PM.
