Prohibition era former speak easy guest quarters located in the Garden level of the elegant Grand Manor, built in 1905, a true southern tropical mansion. Luxurious amenities blended with Victorian grace. Located in Galveston's East End Historic District & considered a top architectural structure on the Island.

Space is Prohibition era living quarters wonderfully restored with a shabby chic Paris feel including great exposed brick and beams. Separate entrance in side Garden.
Guest rooms are richly appointed, with queen beds & Private baths are spa like tub and shower. This Garden villa apartment is 1000 sq feet and include access to the main mansion libraries, lounges, chef's kitchen and dining room.
Guests have access to a great external veranda overlooking Postoffice st. for midnight star gazing through the palms and also have use of outdoor kitchen . (6 other rooms available at mansion for booking)

Guests may access the chefs , kitchen , lobby lounge in the main mansion and use the dining room, libraries and laundry in the upper part of mansion. Guest access to the apartment Prohibition suite is through a private Garden level door in the east garden.

I LOVE ENTERTAINING, ART, THE BEACH , DOGS ,HORSES AND EVEN THE OCCASIONAL FUNNY CAT. FAV food is PHO SOUP FAV TRAVEL SPOT IS MOROCCO Love Blues and Jazz ...and disco Philosophy for here: plenty of sunscreen and plenty of Margaritas
