Attractive holiday home in a prime location! Full facilities include a hot tub and sauna. Located on the famous Sognefjord, surrounded by beautiful fjord landscape! Inside part open kitchen / living area with woodburning stove and access to a wooden terrace in front of it with fascinating beautiful view towards the fjord, mountains and the opposite village Balestrand! The house has four bedrooms. One of the three bedrooms upstairs has a separate entrance via an outside staircase. All beds in the house can be used either as a double bed or two single beds. Downstairs bathroom with shower / WC and then a room with whirlpool for relaxing hours alone or as a couple and a sauna for 4-6 people. The technical equipment includes German TV channels via Astra1 and Wi-Fi. Large car parking space about 20 meters from the house. The distance to the fjord bank is only about 25 m. The nearest shop can be found in Leikanger. The Sognefjord is the longest fjord in the world and is framed by high peaks and waterfalls as well as ice glaciers and orchards. This landscape is uniquely beautiful and can be wonderfully explored from this holiday home. Directly from the front door you can start up to the mountains, to the summit of Vassvarden at 1050 meters above sea level. On nice days you have from up there a fascinating vision! From the smaller headland Hella, just below the house, you can enjoy 180 degree panoramic views of the Sognefjord and the surrounding peaks. Once upon a time there was a so-called Sitjeverpe, an installation for catching salmon, which at that time promised additional revenue to the farms along the fjord. Today, fishing for salmon in the Sognefjord has been banned for conservation reasons.
