The things that make me tick is our South African sunshine, fresh air, the solitude of the bush and our fresh spring water from the farm. My favorite travel destination is the West Coast from the town, Yzerfontein. I love doing gardening especially planting plants that attract bird life, butterflies and bees, so nature is my thing! My Fair Lady is one of those classical's that I could watch over and over again, if I have to be indoors... All seasons are my favorite but winter especially as there is the smell of spices in the air, as we make traditional Cape Bobotie or a Durban bunny chow. I only have one motto "life is too short to drink bad wine"!
