My rental is a downstairs apartment on a beautiful full acre lot. There’s a track in my backyard for jogging/walking. We have an outside shower! We’re LGBT friendly. Two blocks from the main freeway(11) that will take you around the Big Island. We’re close to South Point, the most southern point in the U.S. You can fish from the cliffs or if daring cliff dive! We’re also close to Kula Kai Caverns, Papakōlea Green Sand Beach, Punalu‘U Black Sand Beach and Volcanoes National Park.

Your apartment is private and will have all the necessities to get your vacation started. I’ll include in the unit beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, yoga mat and snorkel gear. To be clear there’s no shared spaces inside. The apartment is only for you and your guests. You’ll have one bed but I do allow up to four people to stay in one apartment. I can provide a futon or air mattress to accommodate any children or additional guests. The bedroom is separated from the living room so it sleeps additional guests well. Just message me and we can work it out:) We’re on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything the adventurous traveler comes to the Big Island for. My location is about half way between Hilo and Kona so easy to make day trips. It’s a great unit and yard to have a real relaxing getaway. Away from all the tourist and noise in town. A real Big Island vacation.

You have free access to the laundry if you’ve booked a week or more. If less than a week no worries I can provide for a small fee. You’ll have access to your unit, everything downstairs and throughout the yard. There’s a few sitting areas for relaxing and grass to take a nap on. Feel free to pick any fruit you find out there:) There’s an outside shower to rinse off your gear after the beach. There’s also a park style charcoal grill for guest use.

Less than a five minute drive to restaurants and a grocery store. Also less than a ten minute walk to Ka Lae Garden a GREAT local restaurant you have to check out. The neighborhood is very quiet. Everyone’s on a full acre so very private. Also please look over the bubble location for me and confirm it’s where you’d like to stay because the Big Island is BIG and zip codes cover large areas:)
