On the cusp of Battery Point and only 15 minutes walk into the CBD or the Salamanca/wharf precinct, make memories on the deck, in the courtyard or perhaps best of all - the indoor pool! Capable of sleeping 7 guests across 3 bedrooms with a huge open plan living/kitchen/dining area to cater and unwind in.

A modern family home situated in an elevated position with views towards Mount Wellington and Sandy Bay. Lots of space for groups of up to nine guests to come together and enjoy their time in Hobart.
The house is positioned over two levels, with the large open plan kitchen/dining/living room positioned across the main level and flowing outdoors onto either the large deck or the split-level courtyard which is furnished with an alfresco dining area and features a fish pond. On this level you will also find the main bathroom and access to the indoor pool for fun times! The pool is heated to around 27 degrees year round (please note the airbnb listing mentions the pool as being 'private or shared' and won't allow us to select either of these options - just to confirm, the pool is of course private as this is a private residence).
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms - two are furnished with queen beds and one room has a single bed and a bunk bed (in other words, three single beds). The master bedroom has an ensuite. There is also a sofa bed in the living area which can be used when required.

Guests have access to all areas of the house, minus the garage which will be locked. Garage access may be required from time to time, however this is completely separate from the house and guests will not be disturbed.

The property is on the cusp of Battery Point - you can conveniently cut through to Battery Point via nearby 'Nanny Goat Lane' or if steps aren't for you, take Sandy Bay Rd instead. The Hobart CBD is perhaps 15 minutes on foot and the MONA ferry/Salamanca Place is maybe 10 minutes. A taxi or Uber will cost around $8 to the CBD or Salamanca Place.
Sandy Bay is an affluent suburb with a great shopping precinct offering everything you may require for a short stay in Hobart. Major supermarkets, cafes, newsagents, restaurants and boutiques are all on your doorstep.
If you like to start the day with a scenic walk, head on down to nearby Marieville Esplanade for a stroll along the Derwent River foreshore - here you will also find a great park for the kids. The Royal Hobart Yacht Club and Derwent Sailing Squadron is only 5-10 mins walk from the house.

We are both Hobart born and bred and having lived and worked interstate and overseas for the past 16 years have returned back to Hobart to raise our young family and enjoy the wonders this city has to offer.
