Situated high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains in a gated, private community, this home offers stunning long-range mountain views. 4 bedrooms (one is a loft), 4 full bathrooms, 3 balconies + a screened in porch make this a wonderful family getaway. Hiking on our private mountain, parks, and views for miles in many directions offer entertainment while in the privacy of an exclusive community. Trendy Asheville is only 40 minutes away. No parties or loud music, it’s a peaceful quiet escape.

Our home has all the normal essentials for your use, including kitchen and bathroom supplies. It is our personal escape from reality, and our personal belongings remain there, please treat the home and the community with respect. The views are unparalleled, both from our home and throughout the mountain top community. Our home is ~4300' elevation.
4th bedroom is a loft, overlooks living room, but has attached private bathroom.
Make sure to use low gear when descending the mountain! Don't smoke your brakes :-)

Whole house is open except the master closet shall remain locked for our personal storage. Runway is available in walking distance if you have an aircraft.

No college trips, no parties, no loud music. Couples & family retreat only. Community is quiet and private. Lots of activities to do in the area. Highest peak east of the Mississippi is a stones throw away (but unfortunately a 50 min drive :-) Per the bylaws of the community, upon booking, I'll be sending in a form to get you registered to get through the 24/7 guarded gate, these documents must be sent back to me >4 days prior to arrival or they will not let you through the gate. Also, the outside trash can is tough to latch/unlatch, we usually just let the lid down unlatched. Only place bagged trash in the outside trash can. Thanks!!

This community is very private, quiet and very nice. There are many parks throughout the community that are wonderful to grill out at (grills and firewood are provided), hang out, or take a hike along a trail. There are maps in the drawer next to the fridge, and/or they usually provide one when you first come through the guard gate. The country club amenities are not available to be used, unless you contact the real estate agency and get permission as a guest of theirs. This includes the clubhouse, pool, pickleball/tennis courts, golf course, and driving range. Runway is available in walking distance if you have an aircraft.
