Kedumba Studio is nestled in the garden of our home in Central Katoomba. It has its own entrance from the street. A well lit path down the side of the main house leads to the front door so that those who arrive late are not stumbling about in the dark trying to find the entrance. The Studio is separated from the main house by a fence and gate so that although you're close to the main house, your space is completely private. The studio is newly renovated. It is very spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas, as well as a private deck overlooking Kedumba Creek, where you can eat a meal, read a book, or just listen to the birds. You'll find everything you need within easy walking distance: shops, restaurants, beautiful walks and scenic views. Although you're in the thick of things, you'll feel as though you're a long way away.
Comforts include:
- queen bed with bedside tables and reading lights
- beautiful ensuite bathroom with continuous hot water shower and underfloor heating
- heating/air conditioning
- kitchenette with plates, cutlery, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge
- digital TV with Apple TV including Netflix
- lounge and table for two
- small work desk and bookshelf
- private deck looking onto bushland with outdoor table and chairs

We have provided a digital TV. You are able to access Netflix and Youtube via the TV, but unfortunately you'll have no access to free to air channels. We have been advised that because the Studio is situated in a small valley surrounded by trees, even with an aerial or satellite dish, it is unlikely that we will get a good signal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The deck at the rear of the studio looks over our backyard. We have a beautiful dog, Jessie, who you may spy in the backyard. She may be interested in meeting you. She's very friendly, so you're welcome to say hello. Just don't let her out the gate!

The studio is perfectly situated for a stroll to Echo Point to watch the sunset. It is only about 600 m in the opposite direction to the main shops at Katoomba, and the many dining experiences that are on offer. If you are in Katoomba for one of our many arts or running festivals, you'll be hard pressed to find a more convenient location.

The key to the studio is in a locked box near the front door, so there's no need to organise key pick ups or drop offs. We live in the main house, so generally we won't be far away in case there's anything you need. We are always happy to answer any questions you might have about great things to do or places to eat in the area.
