A light and bright, self-contained airconditioned studio apartment with a king size bed, lounge, work nook and kitchen with a balcony view looking out over the harbour, The Entertainment Centre, Marina and heritage UWA building. Less than a two minute walk from the cafe strip and main street with all of it's restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. There is no need to drive to breakfast, lunch or dinner!

This self contained luxury apartment has its own kitchen and private bathroom, with laundry facilities right across the hallway with lots of free parking right beneath your balcony. Please note that access to the apartment is by stairs only (to reach first floor outside).
Equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, a king size bed, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, TV, DVD player & DVD's, free broadband and internet access, and kitchen, Foreshore Apartment 104 is the perfect base for you to explore all of what the Great Southern has to offer as a traveller or visiting professional.
The keys to the Foreshore Apartment 104 will be in a lock-box outside the front door, and directions, codes and instructions will be emailed to you prior to your stay.
There is a train line near by, and it does travel at night occasionally. Noise is minimal, but could affect light sleepers.
Tea, coffee, milk, salt, pepper, cutlery and crockery will be provided, along with wine glasses of course, so you can enjoy some of the beautiful local wines on the balcony at sunset.
We ask that you leave the apartment as you found it: clean, neat and tidy.

If you are looking for things to do, pop into the Visitor Centre half way up York Street (attached to the public library and near the Town Hall). If you're after quirky yet delicious food and a good atmosphere, Six Degrees has got you covered for the evening! Keep an eye out for blues gigs in their back room too. If you're more interested in old school classic, head to The Earl, Albany's oldest inn, for a pint and a bite to eat.
For retail therapy, Stamms Emporium, Old Auction Room and Infinito are a must. If you're looking to explore the creative corners of Albany, Blush Gallery has a great collection of local and regional art.
For stocking up the larder, IGA and Dan Murphy's are a stones throw down the road.
The Great Southern boasts loads of delicious fresh produce and locally made wine, cheese, spirits and honey. Keep an eye out for Dellendale Creamery in the shops (scrumptious cheese made in Denmark, WA, which is 45 minutes away) and don't forget to check out Limeburners Whiskey at the Great Southern Distillery. World class whiskey on your doorstep.
A great range of fresh produce can also be found at the Albany Farmers Market on Collie Street on Saturday morning (Bredco pastries are a must!), or at the Boatshed Markets on Sunday.

Trace and I live and work in Albany Western Australia. We are so incredibly lucky to be surrounded by beautiful beaches, rare and unique forests, flora and fauna, and rich culture and heritage on a daily basis. We love our lives here with our farm...ily (our Great Dane, Lucy, and two cats, Rory ad Taco), and really enjoy sharing this beautiful place and our experiences with new people exploring the region. We are both avid travellers ourselves, and try to get away as much as possible to discover new wonders around the world. We love adventure, food, diverse cultural experiences and nature, and enjoy nothing more than listening to and following local stories and advice on things to do and places to see, eating at a restaurant in some suburban back-alley, or following the random hidden signs and markers off the beaten track.
