What make this place unique is my experience of hosting a countless backpackers and also working in the hospitality industry in the past.
I studied facilities management as part of my degree in construction management and I’m a firm believer of how the surrounding can influence the person’s feeling hence I take a conscious effort to ensure this space make the occupant feels calm and relax.

Guest can access pretty much anywhere in the house. Except my room, if without permission 😅

Due to my past experience in the tourism industry, on the weekend I'd welcome the chance to take the guest around in my car and show them places, be their tour guide, for free of charge, as I do it for pleasure.
Lastly, I have a very 'chilled' approach to having a guest, can be visible from the hippie-looking house :) and I figure the guest should know about this beforehand.

This neighbourhood is a laid-back town away from the bustling city centre but still close by to travel to. There are convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. Because it’s not in the city centre, food here is cheaper.
The house is closed by (3.7km) to the ever-magnificent Batu Caves Temple (one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India).
The host sometimes do a jungle hiking and enjoy the beautiful view on top of a mountain called Bukit Tabur just 15 minutes away. There is a quiet and chill waterfall nearby to get into to combat the heat or/and have a picnic in the peaceful jungle.
And Genting Highland is just around 30-45 minutes away!
If it interest you, it is also close by to the Setapak Sentral Mall & Melawati Mall where guest can either do a shopping or watch cinema (you may be surprise at how much Malaysian spend casual time in a mall).

I was born in the deep south of Thailand. I migrated to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia when I was 11 without my family and stay in a boarding school. They told me it was going to be a short holiday. Before I knew it, I was registered into a boarding school, they left back to Thailand and that holiday never ends for me! I remember crying and calling them telling them please come take me back because I couldn’t get the washing machine to work! Haha (I wouldn’t change a thing about it) Since high school, I have or have been encountered by people of different nation, being exposed to people with different ideas and opinions. Thus, witnessing and understanding the various way doing things and this led me to wanting to explore and learn more about the people by interacting with those from different culture, different nation, different religion, different skin color and etc. .

I speak English, Malay, Thai and German (still learning too) and I enjoy socialising with new people but at the same time the guest’s privacy will be respected. I enjoy hearing stories from people who come from a different culture and I believe that everyone I’m going to meet know something that I don’t.
I work on weekdays and able to take guest around on weekend or even on the weekdays if I’m free (free of cost).
I also do some cooking from time to time where guest can join in. I cook Thai food and a little bit Italian food like spaghetti. The only downside is that I get a little bit nervous when cooking for other 😅
