Located on the stunning Waternish peninsula in NW Skye. Spectacular, uninterrupted, panoramic sea views from large triple glazed windows. Situated in a quiet road 3 miles from the pub and restaurant at Stein. The Larch Shed has been designed for couples looking for a modern, bright, warm and cosy self contained space. A great place to stay at any time of year. It's a great place to snuggle in by the fire and watch the ever changing skies through the picture windows.

The Larch Shed is equipped with everything you will need to cook. Basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea and sugar are provided. The king size bed has a luxury mattress and cotton bedding. Every thought has been given to making sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The Larch Shed is a self contained open plan studio with private bathroom. Guests will have sole access. The studio is in the grounds of our house and the best part of the garden has been designated for the sole use of guests. Parking is off road next to our house and is about a 50 metre walk from the studio. Hot tub new for 2021 season (photos to be added).

Waternish is a peninsula situated in NW Skye. It's a friendly, community minded and safe neighbourhood. The scenery is stunning. The studio is situated on the East side of the peninsula in the small community of Gillen which consists of approximately 10 houses leading to a dead end road with walks into the forest and local beach from the end of the road. It is a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The Stein Inn and michelin star Loch Bay Restaurant are 3 miles away. Both serve incredible food.

I moved to Skye in 2017 for a change in lifestyle. It's wonderful being so close to nature and is good for the soul to wake up each morning and look out to the most incredible views of the sea. Since moving to Skye I have taken up kayaking and wild swimming. It's a friendly and welcoming community. We look forward to welcoming you!
