Welcome to your surf bungalow!
This private entrance, two-room bungalow is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. Decorated with a vintage beach style, this is the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. Additionally, it's equipped with an outdoor shower, towels, bikes and beach chairs — all you'll need to bring is a suit!
The room is a completely private mother-in-law suite located right between the beach bars at Neptune and the Pier. It's also a short walk to many great restaurants.

The bungalow is a comfortable, eclectic, bohemian space with a nod toward the mid-century modern roots of the house. It is separated by a locked door to the other half of the house where my husband and I live. Although it can be accessed completely privately, guests may hear us or our dogs from time to time. It features basic amenities, such as a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a collapsible desk for eating or working.
Because the house is older, we have priced the space accordingly. Please be aware that the structure is not new and shows some wear and tear of use over time.
The space has one bedroom and one room that can either be another bedroom or a common space if more than two guests will be staying. In the event of three or more guests, please advise me and I'll make the beds for additional sleeping arrangments. While this space can accommodate four adults, guests should know that space is small with a limited hot water heater. LONG TERM STAYS WITH 3+ GUESTS ARE NOT ADVISED.

-Sunscreen, beach bag, cooler, beach towels
-Three beach cruisers
-One ocean kayak w/paddles
-Two boogie boards
-One learner surfboard (long)
-One skimboard
-One beach umbrella
-One beach buggy for toting supplies to the beach
Guests will be responsible for returning items. A bike lock will be provided and must be used. If bikes or equipment goes missing during a stay, the guest will be responsible for replacing the item.
For all guests who have visited the beach an outdoor shower is mandatory before entering the suite. The drains are old and the shower clogs easily! Please be sure to remove any sandy clothing before entering!
Wifi is available as well as Netflix.
Importantly, this is a FRIENDLY household. That means LGBQ, all races, ages and nationalities. EVERYONE is welcome, NO discrimination!
That even goes for pets. :) If you have a friendly animal, they are welcome here PENDING A PET FEE. We have a fenced backyard and they are encouraged to use it. That said, we do have two dogs ourselves so anyone with an allergy or otherwise is warned against staying. Because our dogs use the backyard as well we can only accept animals that get along with other dogs and have no history of aggressive behavior or separation anxiety. If your dog barks incessantly while you're away you will be asked to board them.
Additionally, at times our dogs may bark and may be heard through the walls, especially during daytime hours.
Lastly, we want your stay to be awesome! Any questions or issues with the suite are encouraged to be directly addressed. We are only a room away so if anything is amiss feel free to message me!

The suite is located on the RIGHT SIDE of the house, behind the gate. This is the opposite side of the driveway, where we park. Please do not come through the backyard to get to the suite.
The lock code is automatic and will be provided with booking.

Because the listing is located in the house, we ask that guests observe quiet time at 9:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. while in the spare room. Additionally, we can only provide parking in front for one vehicle. Please message me for tips for where to park for extra vehicles.
While the space can sleep 4 people, please note that stays longer than a few days will be tight for 4 adults. We do not recommend long term stays for that many adults as we have a limited hot water heater and limited space. NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED.
Also please note: Our dogs will bark from time to time and can be heard especially in the front room. I'd advise guests to close the bedroom door for more quiet in case they bark at night! They typically will not but have on occasion at night.
***while there is a bathtub in the bathroom we do not allow for its use do to a limited capacity hot water heater, note that the bathroom is shower only***
***early check-ins will be allowed permitting availability. If you're requesting an early check-in WE DO CHARGE AN EXTRA $25. Do not ask for us to accommodate you without acknowledging this. *****
