It is a period house, dating from 1850, containing many original and historic features, such as Georgian windows, skirting boards, picture rails and fireplace. There is a lot of art of one sort or another on display. The house is warm, colourful and cosy. The room is on the top floor, and feels private. The house is in the heart of the interesting and lively North Laine area, but it is at the same time quiet and secluded. It is a largely pedestrianised area with very little car traffic.
