Hey guys! I'm a very friendly Canadian (That's kind of our thing, isn't it?) I was born and raised in Calgary, AB and I lived there most of my life. It's a great place to live, the mountains are 45 minutes from away - hiking, skiing, road trips. Summers are great! I've been very fortunate to have had opportunities to travel the world. I can't imagine life without it. At the start of 2013 I quit my job (again!) and booked a one-way ticket to SE Asia and began traveling with no plans whatsoever. I ended up traveling for nearly 10 months making my way through 11 countries (India and Thailand both being amazing), finally ending up in Australia, where I based myself for most of 2014 and 2015 in the amazing city of Melbourne. A couple other notable trips were backpacking Europe by myself for 6 months - I met the greatest people! - and my first travel adventure many years ago - the entire East Coast, and down the centre of Australia. I've seen more of the US than I have of Canada, but that has a lot to do with weather and cheap flights :) So there's me in a nutshell. Travel is a very big part of my life, and I'm eager to share those experiences with some of you amazing people through AirBNB. G
