The house is located in Paihia in the quiet suburb of Te Haumi overlooking the Bay of Islands. Te Haumi is a 4 min drive from Paihia village with its beaches, many restaurants and the wharf for boat tours in the Bay of Islands. The car ferry to Russell is only a short drive away in Opua. The guest studio is at the back of the house and enjoys views of the bush and has amazing views across the bay over to Russell. You will have your own entrance, a private deck and your own en-suite bathroom.

The newly decorated room has a queen sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities, cereals, a fridge and seating area, free WiFi, Freeview satellite TV and a walk in wardrobe. The house has a ventilation system for constant air exchange and the windows in your room have insect screens. You can enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine on your private deck while soaking up the breathtaking scenery. You can even enjoy the views from the comfort of your bed! Watch and listen to the native birds such as Tui, wood pigeons and others in their natural habitat. Sorry no smoking on the premises.

Please make sure you let me know your arrival time at least one day prior so I can make arrangements to be here. Check in times outside the set times can be arranged on request. Should I not be available I can give you the details for self check-in. You will be able to park your car off street in an allocated space. Your access is from the back of the house through the sliding door on the deck.

I will provide complimentary tea, coffee, milk and cereal. A fridge, kettle, toaster and dishes are in the room.
On-site parking for one vehicle.

The neighborhood of Te Haumi is well liked for its quiet surroundings and beautiful views. While being close to all Paihia has to offer it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle during the busy summer months.
Other sights nearby are Haruru Falls, Waitangi Treaty grounds and the beautiful Waitangi Golf course, all within a 10min drive. Kerikeri with its many waterfalls and the historic Stone Store is only a 25min drive away.
