Gordonvale is a sleepy little sugar town. Most active between 7am and 3pm week days and 7am and Midday Saturday, Gordonvale offers a unique insight into country living with Cairns only 20 minutes away.
The Town has 3 country style pubs. Restaurants and food outlets that includes: Japanese, Thai , Bakery and counter meals.
Other facilities and services include an ATM, Laundromat and large supermarket.
Most everything is within 300 mtrs of The G.
Gordonvale is also the the gateway to the green corridor south. Beautiful rainforest walks and mountain streams are readily accessible within minutes from the town. Access to the Tablelands, via the Gilles range is next to the town.
