Hideaway Vacation Rental Management is locally owned and operated, currently specializing in vacation rental management on Bruny Island. With the future goal of expansion to Hobart, East Coast of Tasmania and surrounds. Hideaway was founded in 2019 by Tash Kerrison, who after working in traditional real estate, saw the demand for a vacation rental company with a difference. Understanding that property owners purchase investments to maximize return, and moving into more modern times, permanent rentals were no longer the solution. Tash saw the vision for the future and the need to activate and embrace change was now. Why earn weekly, when you can earn nightly? Hideaway prides itself on providing a premium level of service to its owners so that they can experience all of the benefits of the vacation rental boom, without any of the work. With a growing team of industry professionals who are passionate about real estate and Bruny Island tourism we are certain we can deliver exceptional results. -- About Tash I took the plunge into my real estate career in 2014 at 18 years of age. It was the same year, I made my first venture to Bruny Island on a surfing trip. I had the driving passion to succeed and I had set myself the goal of activating and embracing change within the real estate industry. However, I was unsure of what that looked like yet. That change was discovered years later in 2018 after many trips to Bruny Island and during a time that was referred to as the ‘vacation rental boom’. In 2014, i was recruited straight out of school by one of Launceston, Tasmania’s most prestigious Real Estate firms, beginning my career in a sales based environment. Before moving on to continue my career in a globally renowned firm and expanding my knowledge into property management. It was here, paired with regular Bruny vacations that I began to understand the demand for a property management company that specializes in vacation rentals. Now, a permanent Bruny Island resident with my beloved Border Collie Arlo, my passion for Bruny Island tourism and helping investors achieve outstanding results is paramount. Throughout my career, I have continued to prove that age has no barriers and the founding of Hideaway Management is an epitome of that.
