Close proximity to the Beach, Shops, Cafe's, Restaurants, Parks, Saturday Farmers Market and the main Torquay Town Centre. No need to rush to the supermarket, Breakfast goodies provided! Ideal for a Single, Couple or Couple and a Baby (Free Portacot available). The HideAway has been thoughtfully designed and decorated with a calm and relaxed vibe!

Included in your room is Fresh Sourdough Bread, Fresh Milk, Toasted Muesli, Porridge Sachet, Breakfast Spreads, Coffee, Tea, Herbal Tea, Sugar, Oil, Salt & Pepper, all equipment required to cook a meal, serve up a salad or make yourself a cheese platter!! Glad Wrap, Foil etc, Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Shower Cap, Sunscreen, Toilet paper and other bathroom bits and pieces, Washing Powder, Dishwashing Detergent and the desk is stocked with various stationary items.
Sheets, Pillows, Blankets and Bathroom Towels are also supplied. You will also find hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and disposable gloves for you to use if you wish!
Information regarding 3 person stay....We've had requests for three guests to stay at The HideAway, we are happy to accomodate this, please see the photos of the three guest set up!! There is additional charges for the third guest.
I have just added a beautified timber ceiling fan...just in time for summer, the room doesn’t get very hot as it’s a super solid structure but it’s nice to have the air flow!
There is also a lovely heater in the room...It gives a beautiful calm feel, it’s as close to a fire place as you can get (without the wood and fire!!).
NOTE: The floor is polished concrete and in the colder times of the year it can be chilly on your bare feet, so to ensure maximum comfort it’s a great idea to bring slippers or thick socks!!
WiFi has just been added into the The HideAway. There is a QR code on the wall to allow for quick connection.
A guest suggested how nice it would be to watch a movie in the evening, so I have just upgraded the TV to a brand new Smart TV and its all ready to go with Netflix, Disney, Kayo, Prime etc!
As this is our family home you will no doubt see us coming and going, we have 2 young primary school children, and a lovely old dog who can no longer hear. We also have 4 other families in our Court and most afternoons there will be children playing and riding bikes outside, so we ask you please take extra care when driving through the Court.

Access to 'The HideAway, Torquay' is through the Garage door, walk through the garage to the Yellow Door which will take you to your Private Courtyard and entrance to your lovely spacious 'HideAway'. On arrival you will be provided with a remote and key to your room, you are free to come and go as you please, we just ask you take care making sure the Garage door is down when you head out. Please note: all items in the Garage are off limits.
During busy times of year when there is an influx of holiday makers, internet speed can be very slow.

We are a 700m walk to the Beach, there is a wonderful track that will allow you to walk all the way to Bells Beach (approx 1.5 - 2hrs each way), although, you can drive to any one of the beach carparks and get onto the Bells Beach walking track, (this makes it much less distance) you'll be sure to see some people out Surfing!
There is a Milk Bar/Convenience store just around the corner (approx 250m).
We have 'The Dunes Village' (approx 1.5km), you'll find Woolworths, Bakers Delight, Mr Archer Wine Bar, Town & Country Pizza and Pasta, Cafe El Nido, Thai Restaurant, Bottle Shop, Nail salon, Laundromat, Pharmacy and Doctors.
In the other direction you'll find the Torquay Town Centre, (approx 2.4km). Located there is Coles, Banks, IGA, Bakeries, many Cafe's and various Takeaway places and Restaurants.
Bell Street (approx 4km) has some lovely Restaurants too, Blackman's Brewery, Squires Loft, Italian Restaurant 'Il Matto' and Japanese Restaurant 'Roku Den', The Torquay Pub is also in Bell Street. All the Surf Shops are located along Geelong Road, Torquay (approx 2.5km). The Surf Shop Factories are located behind the main Surf Shops (Baines Crescent), this is where you can usually find some great bargains!!
