I'm from Brighton, UK, and together with my wife Denise (from Calgary, Canada) we run moonbean chocolate, a small-batch chocolate making company based in Kampala, Uganda. We rent a couple of rooms in our place, for visitors who would like to enjoy a cacao infused stay in the capital. Our facility features its own chocolate shop, where chocolate bars, and other locally made products and artisan goods are available for purchase, and visitors have the opportunity to explore the entire chocolate-making process, from cocoa beans to the finest chocolate bars. Specialised tours include chocolate tastings, and workshop guests get the opportunity to create their own handmade treats with a wide variety of regional ingredients.
