The “Safe House” is the place where one can take refuge from the exhaustion of everyday life. The space is close to family activities, history, culture, dining, the mountains with scenic views and stimulating hiking trails, caverns and caves, vineyards and wineries, the Shenandoah River, the Blue Ridge Parkway, camping, hunting, fishing, historical centers and parks. A convenient stay for visiting JMU, EMU, Bridgewater and Mary Baldwin families. Only 30 Minutes from the Massanutten ski slopes!

The Safe House is a relaxing getaway in the quaint village of Weyer's Cave, VA. This is a one bedroom finished basement “Fun Cave,” with a large game/TV room adjacent to the bedroom, located underneath the main residence. It features a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and other included apps for your viewing pleasure. Free Wi-Fi, a coffee/Tea station and a mini refrigerator. Additionally, the space includes a game room with magnetic darts; board games and a putting green; a bathroom with shower/bathtub; a multipurpose gym and two quiet outdoor patios in a spacious backyard for guests to enjoy. Furthermore, the Safe House has its own private entry and parking spaces. The Safe House is a great place to stay, no matter what your venture! Unfortunately, we are not pet friendly. We love our pets, but pet allergies do not always love our guests.

We enjoy the quiet neighborhood, the countryside and mountain views. Tiffany loves to do yoga on the back patio with the beautiful sunrises and I like to take the kids fishing and hiking. We enjoy playing games and taking advantage of the peace and quiet to read or “veg out” and watch movies. When we are not hosting guests, this is our favorite place to be!
