Bicheno's best value! Delightful two bedroom Rice Pebble Cottage is just a gull's squawk from the Pacific Ocean on Tasmania's beautiful east coast. Newly renovated and outfitted, the cosy home is ideally located on the protected south side of the Bicheno promontory. It's just a two minute stroll to secluded Rice Pebble Beach. In the other direction is Bicheno's famous Blowhole. Situated in a quiet street, it's also just a five minute stroll to the heart of Bicheno village.

The cottage can sleep four people comfortably, however if you are coming to Bicheno with a larger group you may want to consider also using our sister property across the road, Bicheno Beach Bungalow. The bungalow can sleep an additional seven guests. This two-property arrangement is ideal for groups coming to town for special occasions or events. Hi, I'm Peter, a West Australian writer, children's book author, environmentalist and photo-journalist. I recently fell in love with Bicheno while on a road trip around Tasmania for my online magazine The Starfish, and ended up owning a holiday home there! It's fabulous, two hours from Launceston and two from Hobart, and perfectly positioned to explore local eateries, beaches, vineyards and other attractions. My friend Gail Dickson, who lives in Bicheno, is my co-host and does a wonderful job greeting the guests and ensuring they enjoy their stay.
