Waterfront Heritage accommodation is now available for you to experience, in the recently renovated and lovingly restored Heritage listed 1862 Wallaroo Customs House. Spacious living areas inside and out providing: three queen bedrooms, with ocean views, a stylish new kitchen with ocean views, and two beautiful heritage styled bathrooms.
Only metres to the beaches, a choice of eateries and the jetty, and an easy 5 minute walk to the main shopping centre.

Guests can enjoy unrestricted ocean views, with outdoor seating, pergola and barbeque provided for their enjoyment. Kayaks available for guest use, to be returned undamaged and washed down.

Wallaroo forms a part of the famous Copper Triangle along with Moonta and Kadina.Wallaroo has great jetty and beach fishing , safe white sandy swimming beaches and wonderful coffee and eatery options. Kadina has its monthly Rotary market in Victoria Park along with the not to be missed Farm Shed , Matta house and mini golf. Moonta has Splashtown for kids, its jetties, the train around the mines with the associated mining museum, the old lolly shop and also many eating options.

We purchased the 1862 South Australian Heritage Building, the " Wallaroo Customs House " in 2013, and restored and renovated it over the period till 2020. We now have the pleasure to offer it as accommodation. We are South Australian farmers with married sons now managing the farm at Bute. My wife Jane and I are semi retired with my interests being lawn bowls , fishing , kayaking , football and Jane's interests being grandchildren, dabbling in art, writing, church and together we enjoy travelling, having driven over Europe and the USA and now seeing more of Australia in our caravan. We had owned and managed Lathami Lodge on Kangaroo Island for 15 years. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our premium location and lovingly restored Wallaroo Customs House with you.
