Welcome to Villa Hygge. The Danish owners purchased this property in early 2020 and have since repainted and refurnished the entire spacious villa with hygge (pronounced "hoo-gah") at the core of each renovation decision and purchase. Hygge is a term that roughly translates to "cosiness" but to Danes, the happiest people in the world, hygge illuminates the Danish soul. In essence, hygge means creating a warm atmosphere for enjoying the good things in life with good people.

Villa Hygge is an easy 30 minutes north of Gardiner, Montana, the northern entrance to Yellowstone National Park. There is ample off-street parking with a circular driveway illuminated by solar lights for easy access in the dark.
The entry way has a bench for gear and shoes. The upper level boasts the master king bedroom, powder bathroom, cozy living room with gas fireplace, beautifully appointed dining area, fully stocked kitchen, and an exterior glass encased patio with a propane BBQ complete with ample deck furniture. The floor to ceiling glass windows and doors lends magnificent views of Emigrant peak from most rooms throughout the entire house.
The master king bedroom has a spacious walk in closet, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and jetted tub with amazing views of the mountains, as well as a private door to the patio facing Emigrant Peak. Both rooms have large windows for plenty of light and mountain views.
The flat rock fireplace and large sectional couch in the living room is the perfect place to relax, watch a show on the large flat screen TV with Sonos surround sound, or enjoy the magnificent views of Emigrant Peak in the heart of Paradise Valley. The vaulted ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors marry the living and dining area. The wooden dining room table comfortably seats eight with three additional bar stools in the kitchen island as well as outdoor patio dining options.
The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted with everything for guests to stay in and make meals with family and friends. Highlights are a gas top stove, granite counter tops, refrigerator with an ice maker, kitchen aid mixer, dishwasher, and all the basic appliances. Plenty of glassware and dishware for 10 guests.
Downstairs hosts the 3 guest bedrooms, full guest bathroom, powder bathroom, family room with a comfortable queen pull out couch and working desk with large computer screen which serves as a small office. Both the king guest room and the queen plus twin guest room have windows facing Emigrant Peak. Along with a quaint twin room there is also a laundry closet with a new washer and dryer.
The family room has a sectional couch which can convert into a pull-out queen bed. There is a small library and large flat screen TV with Sonos speakers for entertainment. The family room has a large glass sliding door to the lawn.
