Our vacation rental is in front of Bridgeside Marina and Cabins near the Gulf of Mexico. This gives you access to lots of perks. One block from a grocery store, boat launch, fishing piers, Gulf of Mexico, crabbing areas, surf fishing areas, wet and dry boat stalls, old Grand Isle bridge fishing pier, fishing bait purchasing, gas and lots of community socializing at Bridgeside Marina.

Our vacation rental is a newly updated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom fun camp. Each bedroom has a set of bunkbeds and the sofa has a sleeper so this camp can sleep 10 people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for any cooking you are thinking of doing. It comes complete with all pots and pans needed, plates, utensils, spices, and a large gumbo pot. :-) All towels and bedding sheets are provided. Just pack your swimsuit and fishing gear and come on down.
Our vacation rental also comes complete with everything needed for a crab, shrimp or whatever kind of seafood boil you looking to have. We even have 8 crab traps that you are welcome to use to catch your dinner. In case you also catch some nice red fish and want to blacken them on a grille, a BBQ pit is also on site.

A lock box with several keys is located next to the door. The code will be texted to you the day before your arrival.

Enjoy! Smoking outdoors only please. Please read over the check-in sheets when entering the camp and of course look over the check-out sheet before leaving. Following these guidelines and respecting our vacation rental is greatly appreciated!
Also, even though our camp is near the Gulf of Mexico, swimming is not allowed in this area. Because of the rock jetties and the Caminada pass, there are lots of strong currents in this area. Please go swimming on the nearby beach in front of Tropical Isle Motel near a great snowball stand. Have fun but be safe. :-)

We are right next to Caminada Pass end of the island. Lots of great fishing and crabbing areas nearby. However, the currents are strong in the gulf here and swimming is NOT recommended. A safe and nice beach near the Tropical isle Motel is just up the road 5 minutes by car, 15 minutes walking. Some great snowballs are sold near there too.
