Due to COVID-19, Ireland has introduced a national lockdown, and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
The cottage is situated on a quiet road less than 1 km from a beach, pub and restaurant, Padraicin's which overlooks the bay and serves fresh fish, shellfish and meat dishes. The well-equipped kitchen is a superb space for creating delicious home-cooked meals or why not enjoy a bbq, dining al-fresco on the large decked area overlooking Clare Island from a distance.
The city of Galway is within easy reach and is bursting with culture, and is a thriving cosmopolitan hub with many festivals and events taking place throughout the year. Explore the Connemara coast and take a boat trip to the Aran Islands. Go scuba diving in Killary Fjord or marvel at the architecture of Kylemore Abbey. With so much to do, this cottage based in Furbo, Co Galway is a fantastic choice for your next Irish break.

From the front door, to your left is a cosy and welcoming sitting room with a gas fire, 3 seater couch and 2 armchairs. There are 2 windows allowing ample natural light.
The open plan reception kitchen area is bright and airy, the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven and gas hob, dining table to seat 6, from the kitchen area you have a utility room with a door leading to the decked area. Here you will find a small table and chair with window overlooking the garden, washer / drier and microwave.
The cosy dining area with has a stove and tv, the dining area has a table seating 4 with a sliding door leading to the decked area.
Bedrooms:
Ground Floor:
There is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and window overlooking the front garden.
Bathroom with bath and separate shower unit.
Upstairs:
Upstairs you will find a large master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, the window allows a lot of natural light and fabulous views.
The 3rd bedroom is a connecting suite, here you will find a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and a double bed with a velux window with views as far as Clare Island.
There is a shower room servicing all bedrooms.
Exterior: Ample parking. There is a large garden to the front of the house. To the back of the property you have a large decked area with outdoor furniture.
Family friendly holiday home: The owner has kindly supplied a travel cot, and a large outdoor table tennis table. There are enclosed hens.
Please note: This house is situated on the grounds of the owners residence. The owner lives to the side of the main residence in a private chalet. Holidaymakers will not be disturbed or interrupted in anyway.
