Our farm has an amazing location, half way between the ocean to the west and the glacier mountains to the east. The Nordfjord coastline has ocean cliffs and surfing beaches, and the mountains has glaciers and spectacular views. In between, where we are located, the landscape is smoother and invites to small and big hikes. The tranquility of our little agriculture valley adds quiet and rest to days filled with activities like cajaking on the fiord or visiting the viking boat museum in town.

Different seasons has different activites going on on the farm, like lambing in April-May, harvesting in June-August, and gathering the sheep from the mountains in September-October. It is possible to sign up for joining these different activities on the farm, giving you a unique Norwegain cultural experience. You can also sign up for a guided boat trip on the fiord.

Right outside the entrance is a charming outdoor area at your disposal. Enjoy The beautiful view of the valley. There is also a bbq possibility on the front side of the house.

The town center with shopping, groceries etc is 15 km from The farm. Opning hours Mo-Sat 8-23 for groceries, 10-19 (17) for the mall, Sun most stores closed, but one grocery store (Bunnpris) open 11-21.

We are a family of 3; Enok, Magni and our son Lucas. Last year we moved from our city Bergen to this farm, Henrikgarden, to take care of the beautiful place where Enok grew up. The house was built for a lagre family, and with our small family we have plenty of spare bedrooms. So we decided to make two cosy apartments to receive visiting family and other guests who would love to experience the tranquility and beauty of the Norwegian countryside. We mainly tend sheep and harvest grass, and run our farm in a traditional and sustainable way.

We live in the main floor of the house, and are available for questions when we are at home. When not at home we are available by phone. You May also sign up for a guided hike in nearby mountains, a boat ride on the fiord, or parttaking in farm activities, seasonal. A complete activity/price list will be offered at booking.
