Situated in Galveston's historic Midtown, Old Doc's Cottage is right in the middle of everything Galveston. The Seawall is an easy drive or bike ride. The Strand is a quick commute and the history of Galveston is everywhere. Situated across from Galveston’s most celebrated cemeteries, the cottage holds simple island stories (a back door from a long-gone Galveston speak easy) with modern amenities. Looking for a romantic get-a-way, girls get together or just down time… Come enjoy Galveston.

Old Doc's Cottage is full of history and charm. Appointed with Galveston history from original Ship-lap walls, to local salvage pieces from some of Galveston's Mansions, restaurants and maybe even a speak easy! Inside we offer WiFi, basic TV channels, media apps on the TV, Sonos sound for music, games, a full kitchen stocked with all your basic tools to create fabulous meals, Keuring Coffee Station with Starbucks Coffee pods, fresh linens, towels, full sized washer and dryer and basic bathroom toiletries. Catching the sunset sky with an evening cocktail in the courtyard doesn’t get any better!

We love our four legged Family members and they are invited to come. We do collect a $75 pet fee prior to arrival. If we have to charge after check in date the fee is $150.

Galveston's Historic Midtown holds some of the islands biggest treasures of architecture, history as well as the final resting space for some Galveston's most influential 19th and early 20th century citizens. Walking the cemeteries is an amazing journey through an island time capsule of the Texas Revolution, Civil War Soldiers of both sides, National celebrities and prominent local citizens along with a couple of known local scoundrels!
