Room 1 is in the Main House of the Little River inn in Aldie, Virginia and we have been in business for 38 years. A full breakfast is included in your stay; we use local meats, eggs and serve everything from French toast, to quiche, to Dutch apple baby. Room 1 is the only bedroom on the first floor of the main house and there are additional private bedrooms upstairs. A living room, two dining areas, and the kitchen are on the main floor as well.

Located in Aldie is an antique shop also run by your hosts, which is called Mercer Tavern Antiques. Greenheart juice shop and the Aldie General Store and Cafe are also located within walking distance. The Little River Inn is located 5 miles east of Middleburg, Virginia, the heart of Virginia’s hunt and horse country. Whether it’s a wine tasting at one of the many vineyards, eating at one of the region’s fine restaurants, taking a tour of a world-class horse farm, shopping in downtown Middleburg, visiting a civil war battlefield or just relaxing in the clean country air, you will find that there is something here for everyone!

Our names are Tucker and Mary Ann Withers. We live in the village of Aldie and have been running the Little River Inn for 38 years. We love antiquing, traveling and spending time with our three children, their significant others and our grandchild. We love hosting guests and friends at the inn and sharing our love for Aldie when they visit. At the Inn, a full breakfast is included in your stay, we use local meats, eggs and serve everything from French toast, to quiche, to Dutch apple baby. The Little River Inn features beautiful rooms decorated with antiques, quilts, hooked and braided rugs, spool beds and 19th-century paintings. The Main House features a sitting room with a fireplace, a patio, porches, two breakfast rooms and a spacious yard our donkeys, Milo and Racer, call home. Located across the driveway from the Main House, the Patent House and Log Cabin are free standing cottages that feature full baths and living rooms and working fireplaces. We serve a full breakfast at 8:30 a.m. every day, prepared from scratch by chef Tucker. Established in 1982. After moving to Aldie, Tucker learned that his great-uncle’s house was for sale, though the buildings were in poor condition, he decided it would be the perfect Bed and Breakfast. Tucker restored the Main house and cabins, while keeping the charm of the historic property, welcoming the first guests in 1982.
