Completely surrounded by nature, the house is conveniently located in between the two urban hubs: Cologne (17min train ride / 25mins by car) and Düsseldorf (35min by car). The private rooms in the house come with a full private bathroom and access to the shared kitchen and spacious dining area and living room, as well as the outdoor patio and garden.
Upon request I can provide transportation to and from the local train station which is a 5min car ride from the house.

Guests are welcome to use all areas and amenities of the house (except for the hosts sleeping quarters).
You’re welcome to use the washer and dryer at a small fee of 5€ per 7kg cycle (wash & dry).
Please notify me if you’d like to have a bonfire, I’ll set up the fireplace (5€ firewood fee).

The house is located next to a farm right outside the small town of Stommeln, with easy Autobahn access to both Cologne (A57/A1) and Düsseldorf (A57). It’s a 5min drive (10-15 by bike) to the train station which will get you to Cologne main station in 17minutes, to the Cologne convention center stop in 20mins.

Hi there, I worked in tourism for the past 8 years all over the world and now I'm stranded in my home in Germany due to Corona. So it's time for me to give back and start hosting travelers myself! I worked mainly in visual content production as well as business development for the travel industry, and I am a passionate mountaineer. One of my favorite places to visit is Nepal, I worked as an expedition photographer on Mt Everest for three seasons and feel that the landscape and culture have positively transformed my life.
