A cool, rustic-western pad, which is the perfect base camp for exploring Zion National Park (17 minutes away) and the Desert Southwest. This comfortable unit features two bedrooms and bunks for either the kids or your favorite tag-alongs. With a full kitchen, and comfortable living spaces both inside and out, you'll want to stay awhile.

In normal times, we ask you to wash your own dishes, but until the pandemic is over, we will wash all the dishes for you at the end of your stay. The space has a full kitchen, but due to the pandemic we do not have common spices as we cannot properly disinfect them between guests. If you need something, or forgot something please let us know and we'll do our best to provide it.
The bunk beds will not be made up, but will have freshly-laundered bedding stacked on the beds for you.

We have received permission from the neighbors allowing all guests to access the Virgin River and use the private road that runs along it.

The building is newly finished and completely furnished. However, because of some surprises during construction we have had to postpone the landscaping. We are sorry that the entire project couldn't be completed before opening, but we expect to complete the landscaping in the near future.
Be aware that Virgin is a rural area, and that if you use Verizon or Sprint, service is spotty in Virgin. AT&T or T-Mobile, however, have great service here. Because of this we provide the best WiFi we can and you should be able to use WiFi calling. This is a rural area, and sometimes service and power interruptions do happen.

The area is beautiful and outdoor activities are plentiful. If you love the outdoors, you will love it here. Talecca Homestead is just a name, but we do live on a Homestead of sorts. We have chickens, milk goats, rabbits, and our dog. At times we also have quail, chucker, and pigs. We grow and harvest a variety of nuts, vegetables, fruit, and melons. The best part of living here though is that the kids have ample room to run, explore, and learn. We love our place, so if you'd like to see or experience some of our life, just let us know.
