Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee looking over Low Gap valley and Slickrock Mountain and then enjoy amazing hiking and swimming holes just minutes away. You are an 8 minute drive to food, shopping and fun in Burnsville and a 45 minute drive to Asheville for fine dining, music and beverages. Spend your evenings relaxing in the cedar hot tub in a beautiful screened in porch.

Please note that the main (public) road to Low Gap Getaway is, at times, windy and steep. The turn into our gravel driveway is also steep. Generally, you do not need a four wheel drive to access the house, however snow or ice could impact road conditions. We ask that you use caution when driving to the property, especially at night as there are no streetlights in the area.
Cell reception can be spotty based on your carrier. However our wifi is very strong, so you still have access with the outside world.

Burnsville, North Carolina is a quaint mountain town with a walkable Main Street featuring locally-owned eateries and independent restaurants (including a locally owned brewery!), art galleries, antique shops and great shops for unique gifts. There is a large grocery store (Ingles) in Burnsville that will have almost everything you need to stock up for your stay at Low Gap Getaway.
There are plenty of outdoor attractions: hiking, driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, fly fishing, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask us for recommendations!
