A cozy room for rental in a great old style house in San Cristobal neighborhood. The house has been fully refurbish. All the bathrooms are shared, but they are big and clean. Wi fi is very good. Common places are great. Quiet place to enjoy Bs As!

From the outside, Pichincha seems just like one of many ordinary buildings in the San Cristobal area. But as soon as you step into the old house through the tall wooden doors, you’ll be intrigued and mesmerized by the uniqueness and beauty of it. From the ground floor you can see through the corridor with the rooms side by side, all the way to a bright and cozy common area. Here you can escape the sun in the hot daytime and yet sit outside or doze off in the hammock. On this floor you will also find a class room for studying, meetings etc.
When you continue upstairs along the marble staircase, beautifully equipped with gold railings, you feel as though you’ve stepped out of the chaos of Buenos Aires and entered a small piece of relaxation and quietness - a sensation provoked by the flowers all along the gallery and the open design of the building.
On this floor there’s a “hideaway” type common room, useful for those few but intense rainy days. It’s furnished with a sofa and a bunch of bean bags in front of the tv-set. There’s a balcony as well, convenient for checking whether the rain has stopped, or just for letting the rays of the sun enter.
Furthermore you find on this floor the library where you can get away with studying or working without being disturbed – there’s even an adjacent bathroom so you won’t have to leave your work for too long at a time.
In the spacious kitchen area upstairs you will be tempted to cook all your meals for yourself, just to be able to sit outside in the garden-like terrace surrounded by plants and flowers in all colors imaginable. Also this proves a perfect place for working or studying with the sunlight entering the kitchen through wide glass doors and a roofed corner of the terrace (also including a grill, perfect for those traditional Argentinean asados). In the night, on the contrary, it might turn into quite a party zone, backed up by the powerful stereo.
In floors 1 and 2 you find gender separated bathrooms with 4 toilets and 2 showers in each, and there are two more toilet facilities in floors 3 and 4.
The rooms range from single rooms to rooms for four persons, some with wide desks and plenty of space.

We can host up to 40 people, with enough space and facilities to have them all comfortably

Im an actor and also run this beautiful place in San Cristobal. I like music and I also dance tango. I cant live without an asado (barbacue) a week which I prepare for my friends and they say I am one of the best asadores they know. 住宿期間

We do interact a lot with guests. During the week I am at the house every day in and out at diferent times. Also we have a nigth guard man monday to saturday and the house keeper that lives at the house. Weekends I usually make asados (grill) for friends and guests are welcome to join.
