The Bungalow is a brand new, tastefully furnished holiday bungalow set in Australian bushland with panoramic views of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. It is the perfect place to relax and take in all that Bruny Island has to offer.
The Bungalow is spacious, and light filled. There is a well-appointed kitchen with comfortable living and dining areas opening onto an expansive wrap-round deck with fabulous views of the bushland, the Channel and across to the Huon Valley estuary and the Hartz Range.

Polished timber floors, oriental rugs, slow combustion fireplace and an eclectic mix of paintings and comfortable furniture, means the Bungalow echoes of a bright and warm Scandinavian holiday house. The main room opens onto an expansive wrap-round deck with comfortable outdoor furniture, Weber BBQ and umbrella. Inside there is excellent free wi-fi access, a flat screen smart TV, DVD player and an extensive DVD and reading library. Guests are welcome to wander through the ever expanding native gardens, encouraging the growth of endemic native plants and bird attractors.
On the property you have direct access to the water's edge. Enjoy strolling through the natural bushland and our native gardens, taking in the abundant wildlife and many birds.

Te Kuiti Bungalow is situated close to the township of Alonnah. Take a short drive (or a longer walk by the bush track and coastline) to town. Enjoy the calm sandy beach or cross the road and visit the famous Bruny Island Hotel for a meal and convivial drink. Alonnah is centrally located. It is a pleasant drive in any direction to Bruny’s many attractions. Depending on your tastes you can savour the famous gourmet food and wine providores, go on all grades of beautiful bushwalks, take in the scenic splendours of the Neck, Cloudy Bay, Adventure Bay, visit wildlife sanctuaries, go on exciting boat or plane trips or enjoy the unique features of South Bruny National Park and its dramatic lighthouse.

Semi retired professional. Enjoy nature, sailing, bike riding, travel, theatre. Pretty eclectic in my tastes. Looking forward to an active future meeting people and to continue discovering our wonderful world.

The Bungalow discretely shares the property with Te Kuiti Cottage, where we live. The Cottage has been a successful short stay destination and we are hoping to reproduce that feeling in the Bungalow. Apart from meet and greet, we will ensure our guests privacy, while always being available to assist if required and providing access to the all of the 2 acre property.
