We can't approve your request until we know. Located on Jamaica's charming Main Street (VT Rte 30), this cozy studio space offers all the amenities that one or two people might need. Jamaica State Park is a short walk; Stratton Mountain is a 10 minute drive. This space offers a private entry door and no shared spaces.

Exposed beams, warm wooden floors, large windows, new appliances and fixtures make for a comfortable stay. This studio apartment is located above the owner's small gallery and is in the building next door to our residence. There is a small desk suitable for a laptop, and we provide coffee, tea and creamer as well. The bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Jamaica Village Cozy is right on historic and scenic VT Rts 100 and 30, with all the conveniences, scenery, and Vermont charm you would expect, but guests will hear vehicles as they pass through town at 30mph.
The best cell service here is through AT&T, but there is Wi-Fi in the apartment.
Your canine companion can be accommodated, but we require that dogs be crated when left alone in the apartment. Also, please note that there is no place to tie a dog outside.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Our cleaners and service-people are local residents to whom we are committed to paying a living wage. Our linens are professionally washed and folded by a local, independent establishment.

Parking is directly in front of the gallery, close to the fenced property line. A lockbox is provided with the door key inside. The code is available to confirmed guests in the Check-in Instructions.

Jamaica is a historic village of about 800 people in Windham County in Southern Vermont. Much of the architecture dates from the 18th and 19th Centuries. The beautiful miles-long rail trail along the lovely West River in Jamaica State Park is a wonderful place to walk, run, and bicycle. There are many more rugged hiking trails in the State Park and in other areas nearby. In winter, the rail trail is a fantastic place to snowshoe and cross-country ski. D & K's market a few doors down offers groceries, beer and wine, yummy deli foods and baked goods.
