The house is located 20 minutes from Russell township meaning easy access to shops, restaurants and tourist options but is also far away enough to be peaceful and quiet and some of the best night sky viewing around.

Tiroroa (meaning “Extensive View”) is the Bay of Islands home that you have been dreaming of. Elegantly designed, nestled in native coastal bush with endless views of the Bay of Islands. Ultimate family getaway or romantic retreat.
This stunning landscape makes it one of the absolute must see destinations in New Zealand and is visited by people from all over the globe.
Keen sailors will appreciate that Dicks Bay and nearby Jacks Bay are popular and peaceful anchorages on the eastern side of the Bay of Islands.
The heart of this recently built home is a huge designer kitchen with high quality appliances and stonework surfaces. Just behind a feature wall the separate lounge area has an open fireplace for the ambience rather than necessity given the eco-efficiency of the build. With a large master suite at one end and two generous double bedrooms at the far end, privacy is guaranteed with all rooms enjoying access to the large covered deck, which has outdoor seating, dining and a BBQ to enjoy the long Northland evenings. The house is well equipped with all the homewares for a perfect self catering holiday, creating memories of a fabulous romantic getaway or a delightful family holiday.
Additionally a cosy single room can fit a mattress or camp stretcher (no linen provided.)
Guests may use the entire home for the duration of their stay.
We are not present on the property. Property Manager is contactable.
Guests can access the home and surrounding grounds for the duration of their stay.
Advantageous location to enjoy beaches, sailing trips and tourist attractions in the Bay of Islands.
You will need your own car, home is located about a 20 minute drive out from Russell.
Linen: Linen supplied and included with rental.
Cleaning: Guests are required to leave the property as found i.e Dishes are washed and away or in the dishwasher and turned on to wash, all rubbish and recycling in bins provided, all used beds turned down and used towels in the showers. A sanitising clean of kitchens, bathrooms and floors will be done by us on departure.

Please advise if you will be bringing a trailer boat as there is a parking available for your use. Also it is important to advise if you intend to travel in a large vehicle such as a campervan as this may impact your access to the house as it is up the top of quite a steep driveway.
Due to the remote nature of the property we do not have access to unlimited Wifi. We do offer this option for our guests however because we have a finite amount allocated each month we are unable to offer streaming services on our TV and Home entertainment systems. We opt to offer Full Sky TV as an adequate entertainment option and if you have any questions at all please feel welcome to ask
