Woodside is bordered on the north by Astoria, on the east by Jackson Heights and Elmhurst, on the south by Maspeth, and on the west by Sunnyside and Astoria. Having a below average violent crime rate and a low property crime rate, the area quickly becomes an attractive neighborhood for many young professionals.

There are many restaurants in this area. If you like Mexican food, no need to go to Manhattan, Cemitas El Tigre is the place to be. This Mexican restaurant is known for its namesake dish, cemitas. The ten layers of tastiness are all very fresh and well-seasoned, especially the pickled onions and Oaxaca cheese. Another specialty is a sesame roll which possess the right texture.

After a fulfilling dinner, how about going to a famous bar in the area. Solid State is a great choice. The service and bartender are great as well as the selection of beers and cocktails. The interior seems to follow an 80’s vibe with the pinball machines, and board games. What’s better than sipping and getting on a time machine to the 80s?

Along with the gastronomy convenience is the transportation convenience.
The neighborhood is serviced by the number 7 train, which has tracks running above Roosevelt Avenue. All the easy access for your comfort!
