Wintergreen Resort is located a mile above the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the base of the mountain are many popular attractions - like Bold Rock Cidery and Devil’s Backbone Brewery to name just two.
The Wintergreen Nature Center has maps of the many hiking trails on and off the mountain. Skiing at Wintergreen is great fun, as is tubing and zip lining. Charlottesville is less than an hour away where you can visit the University of Virginia, Jefferson’s Monticello, Michie Tavern and other beautiful sites.

Don’t let the Buckeye state location fool you! I’m Virginia born and grew up coming to Wintergreen. My grandparents were some of the resort’s original property owners and our family enjoyed countless gatherings on the mountain over the years. I spent my high school and college summers working at Devil’s Knob tennis. My husband and I were married at the Devil’s Knob Overlook. We’re excited to share this special place with you and hope you’ll make as many happy memories here as we have.
