Overview
The Bay Street Inn Bed & Breakfast in downtown St Petersburg is a luxury historic boutique inn / B&B. The bed & breakfast comprises nine unique rooms/suites, with three studio apartments in the Carriage House and six luxury rooms in the main house. All are individually styled with high-end furnishings and feature a luxurious king or queen bed and en-suite bathroom, most with jacuzzi tubs, and showers. We feature high thread-count cotton sheets, goose down comforters, down-alternative pillows, and fluffy cotton towels. Each room offers an ultra-high-definition TV, full cable, high-speed internet, and in-room Nespresso coffee machines. Continental breakfast, juices, water, and snacks are included, and free parking, a tropical courtyard with outdoor seating, a covered porch, and a gas fire table are provided.
The Bay Street Inn Bed & Breakfast is situated on the corner of Bay Street NE and 6th Avenue NE, St Petersburg, and is one block from St Pete's famous Vinoy Hotel and Beach Drive, downtown St Pete's main waterfront dining and entertainment location. It's an easy walk to St Petersburg's Museum of Fine Arts and Dali Museum and the Vinoy and North Shore Parks and Aquatic Complex.
The bed & breakfast was built in 1914 as a guest house during the early development of St Petersburg and is on the city's Historic Register.
Main House
The main house features a large living room, dining room, butler’s pantry and office (with PC and printer available for guest use).
A commercial Nespresso machine serves espresso, regular and decaf coffee, together with a selection of teas, and seltzer and bottled water are also available throughout the day. A light continental breakfast is offered featuring fresh fruit, yogurt, a selection of cereal bars, oatmeal, fruit smoothies, and Natalie’s fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Bedrooms
Each room is individually styled and offers either a king or queen bed, with Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, goose down duvets, down-alternative pillows, and 540-thread count cotton sheets. All feature an ultra high definition TV with cable and high-speed internet, in-room Nespresso coffee machines, and luxurious en-suite bathrooms, most with jacuzzi tubs, and showers.
Outdoor Spaces
We offer a covered back porch with seating for three, a tropical courtyard with a table and chairs for six, a large umbrella, and an adjacent seating area for four with a gas fire-table. A pellet Traeger barbecue/smoker is available for guest use on request.
The Queen suite is situated on the first floor of the carriage house and features a Queen size luxury bed, with Sealy Posturepedic mattress, goose down duvet and 540 tc cotton sheets, a stand-up shower, a separate dining area, and fridge and Nespresso espresso coffee machine. Also features french-doors to the courtyard and UHD TV with cable and high-speed WIFI.
