At the edge of the La Tigra National Park we offer a quiet wooden cabin with two rooms and a big porch with a great view over San Juancito and the Cantarranas valley. A rich continental breakfast is included. We may be able to serve you a delicious vegetarian dinner if you tell us early.

We love to welcome single travellers, that is why we charge per person. On weekends however, there is a minimum of two guests required.
A group of two guests can choose one of the rooms, the other will be locked.

Up here it is always a bit colder than in Tegus and much colder than on the coast, so you might want to bring a sweater and long pants.

We live at the edge of La Tigra Nationalpark, a cloud forest under protection since 1980, a true paradise for nature lovers and birders. Unique are the derilict houses of the New York and Honduras el Rosario Mining Company. There are two pulperias and cafeterias in the vecinity, where you can get snacks and warm meals.

We are on the premises all the time, ready to give informations and serve hot or cold drinks but no lunch. We enjoy chatting with our guests after dinner over a glass of lemongrass tea or homemade fruitwine. We speak English, Spanish and German.
