10 minutes to Birregurra - Recently updated Royal Mail Hotel (Fantastic Food - Must Book). and the very well known Brae restaurant. Yield Providore - great butcher/providore/wines for all your bbq and meals needs. 'Birre' also has some quaint gift/antique stores.
25 minutes to Forrest - Mountain Biking Mecca (Trails for all ages). Here you will also find Lake Elizabeth - a must see (platypuses). Forrest Brewery - Great Beer and Meals.
