房源空間 "Even folks who've frequented Virginia-Highland for years may have never stumbled on Briarcliff Terrace Apartments. Built in the 1960s, it's a nondescript, quiet pocket of low-rise apartments due east of Diesel restaurant and bar, CVS, and other attractions on Va-Hi's Highland Avenue strip. It's a tucked-away bastion of affordability with almost no web presence." - Curbed Atlanta
While not aesthetically pleasing, this might be the safest complex in Atlanta. The community is largely hispanic with a lot of kids, and everyone is extremely friendly. The building is old, so please consider this when booking - I've renovated, but there are some elements I cannot control (the outside of the building).
I live in this unit (for the past 3 years) Mon - Fri and have renovated the space to be a charming, boho, plant oasis reminiscent of your best friend's, daughter's, or girlfriend's apartment. Lived in, but clean. Equipped with anything someone would need to live comfortably.
"Virginia-Highland bills itself as the original work-live-play neighborhood, and this charming in-town neighborhood may be right. It’s known for its casual lifestyle with shops, restaurants, 1920s bungalows and a diverse population. No need to dress up; it’s casual, friendly and welcoming." - The Atlantic Journal-Constitution
Nestled between Midtown and Druid Hills, Virginia Highland is a charming neighborhood teeming with historic bungalows, unique shops, trendy restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife. Virginia Highland gets its name—which is often shortened to VaHi and mispronounced as Virginia Highlands—from its location at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Highland Avenue.
Virginia Highland residents enjoy a walkable design in addition to being part of a close-knit community. Numerous metropolitan amenities are convenient to VaHi, including Ponce City Market, Piedmont Park, Atlanta Botanical Garden, the Fox Theatre, Center for Puppetry Arts, High Museum of Art, and the Georgia Aquarium.
