Stay with us at Villa Andalucia in the white village of Competa, Andalucia. Our unique rental accommodation provides B&B rooms and a self-catering apartment.
Breakfast is an additional charge, we give our guests the choice of having it or not (For something special why not try our Champagne breakfast), and we can arrange BBQs for you. We also arrange trips and activities and provide you with information on the surrounding area so you can make the most of your holiday.

Our property is situated on a large plot with 2 separate entrances & is totally private yet only a short stroll from the village centre - ideally placed for a relaxing holiday yet close to shops, bars & restaurants. Our pool is set in beautiful gardens with some wonderful exotic plants as you can see from the photographs. Here you can take your breakfast while looking down over the valley and the surrounding mountains down to the coast and deep blue sea.
We are situated on the side of the mountain with stunning unrivalled views down the valley, across the Mediterranean as far as the Rif Mountains in Morocco. We have 7 patios, 3 lawns, a swimming pool, 2 BBQs & a lovely mature garden for you to relax in. Even when we are fully booked there is always a secluded corner for you to relax in. We have solar water installed, The Blueberry Room - This room sleeps 2 in twin beds, with fridge and drink making facilities, also in the room is a clock radio. The room has a large en suite with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink, heating and solar heating for hot water. From the bedroom window you look out to the large garden with lawn, terraces and BBQ area where in the evening and early morning you have the lovely scent of the jasmine. There is also a table and chairs for your own personal use and where Helen can serve you your breakfasts. Also you can relax and perhaps have a quite drink or have a read whilst sitting on the wicker settee or chairs on the second terrace by your room.

Competa is nestled 700 metres above sea level in the Sierra Almijara, perched upon a hill side with picturesque views. A delightful medium-sized white Spanish village only a 50 MIN DRIVE FROM MALAGA AIRPORT AND 55 KM FROM MALAGA CITY. It is one of Andalucias famous white villages or Pueblo Blancos - the white washed walls reflect the beautiful summer sun, on doors, windows and walls throughout Competa town.
Competa has 35 bars and restaurants offering excellent tapas and meals at low prices. The area of Competa has one of the best climates in Europe, and the land surrounding the village and down to the coast is filled with vineyards, olive, almond and lemon groves. The locally produced Moscatel wine is famous throughout the region. You can visit one of the bodegas and taste it yourself!
From Malaga airport bus (no.19) runs every 15 minutes from the Airport to the Central Bus Depot in Malaga where the Competa bus can be picked up three times a day. The service is very cheap (less than €4.00)and the coaches are comfortable and air conditioned. The bus stop is at the entrance to the village, opposite Bar Marcos.

This apartment is known as the Banana room due to its unique and quirky shape and sleeps a maximum of 4, 2 in twin beds plus the double sofa bed which can be used for 2 small children. It has a separate private entrance. Pets are allowed, the area is fenced in. The mini kitchen has a sink, fridge and 2 electric rings, toaster and microwave, kettle and coffee making machine, George Forman Grill, dining table and 4 chairs. The apartment has a TV with Sky (basic) DVD recorder and a wide selection of books, games and DVDs. The separate bathroom comprises shower, sink and toilet. The apartment also has air conditioning, central heating and solar heating for hot water. The front of the apartment has a terrace with a barbeque, 2 sun loungers, umbrella, table and chairs which have a view of the local village of Corumbela and the valley to the sea.
All rooms have; Bed linen and towels, Heating, Fans, Kettle, Fridge, Hair dryer and Torches.
All our guests have access to : Private outdoor swimming pool, Sun loungers, Balcony / Terrace, Gardens, BBQ, Parking, Washing machine (€5 per load), Iron/board, Clothes dryer, Dining seating for 12, Lounge seating for 6, Highchair and cot (please book before arrival). Beach towels can be hired for use around the pool or taken to the beach for 1 euro a day. Beach umbrellas and cool boxes can also be hired for €5 each per day.

Villa Andalucia is in the perfect spot for you to enjoy the countryside as well as easy walking into the village, the locals are so friendly and will welcome you into their village.
I recommend you go into the main plaza and sit and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine with some local tapas and watch the world go by.
