Over the past 10 years, I have organized and run several major cultural events in Iceland. I was the first festival director of DesignMarch, Iceland’s most important annual design festival and then acted as the festival’s chairman for 3 years. I directed the Ísafjördur-based rock festival Aldrei fór ég suður in its founding years, RIFF – The Reykjavik International Film Festival, was project manager at the Reykjavik Art Festival as well as Ting, Nordic Art Festival and Tectonics Reykjavik Music Festival. I've been the managing director for Vid Djupið Music Festival since 2006.
I worked as a project manager for the Iceland Symphony Orchestra overseeing new projects and development as well as I acted as the orchestra’s concert director one season.
