I'm a theatre and English teacher; I’ve been teaching for 30 years. My husband Paul and I love to explore and greet guests! We love hearing our guests' stories and welcoming them into our rentals. We have five children and 4 beautiful, lively granddaughters!
The Pensacola guest areas will eventually be our retirement home. I probably won't be there, but we have wonderful family and neighbors that will take care of you! I've been coming to Pensacola for years and love my time in this beautiful paradise!!
The Huron River Retreat in Rockwood has been a labor of love! (Ok, we'll go with that!) From what we've been told, the 1925 building is the original Rockwood General Store and had to be completely renovated from the roof, walls, ceilings, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, foundation, plumbing, electrical and mechanics! Yep, yikes!!
We LOVE the location on the Huron River and the complete renovation took seven years! Not going to lie, we certainly didn't work on it the whole time; we often just went to the property to kayak, have a bonfire, explore the woods across the river and just enjoy the river. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!!
